Mis-mash of bit's and pieces

180 degree 2.5" bend from powerflow
2.5" flexi from Ashley
manifold bracket from standard downpipe
90 deg and conector hacked from ecort cossy downpipe

All in the bits were £80 - so still pretty expensive

All stainless, but I wont bother polishing it.

Looks great... My friend and I built one for my A1 TD and we went through the same process.  I like the support bracket on yours.  I still need to add that, although after a year and around 15k miles, it seems to be fine.

For us, the biggest problem was finding the turbo flange around here...

looks excellent reg 8) , very similar to how mine turned out except I forgot to take a picture of mine before I put it on...

what are your plans for the rest of the exhaust?
mines 2.5" all the way back to a small universal box from jetex, with a turned down tip, tdi style.

does your mk1 have anti-roll bars, if so have you checked the clearance with the rest of the system in place? mine knocks as I just sort of threw it on for my MOT, hopefully with a bit of fettling it should be ok.
