• Does anyone have a good number for a conrod bearing set for the 1Y?  The parts supplier sent me bearings for an AAZ which do not appear to be the same at all.

• So after some searching it seems that the 1.6L diesel conrod bearings are the ones I want.  Are the conrod bearing ends the same diameter as the 1Y?  Or do I need to buy oversize/undersize?  Rods are standard.

• The big-end journal diameter for the 1.6 and the AAZ is the same.  I don't know about the 1Y.  If it is different from the AAZ then it is different from the 1.6.

• The problem with the AAZ bearings are the notch.  The 1Y has a small style notch while the AAZ notch is large and goes completely to the edge.  The 1Y rod bearing notch does not go to the edge.
