Ford Transit 2.5 Injection Pump on ALH

Has anyone run one?  A friend of mine sent me this pic of an engine he purchased.  He didn't see it run but the specs look good.  11mm plunger, the 20mm mainshaft rotates the correct direction, the sprocket offset is correct and the snout mounting hole is the same as the ALH.  The accelerator lever rotates the opposite direction of the VW mechanical pumps, but the ALH has the pump mounted far enough away from the engine that it wouldn't be an issue.

Can't say I've seen one on a VW in any of the research I did looking for my pump. Someone will need to guinea pig!

I think the UK guy getting rover pumps over here has done some experimenting. He will not join this place though

I just talked to owner, you may have your guinea pig.  Checking it out tomorrow, sounds like no one has tried to start it.
