Wait, you said it came with the cap with the nipple. Why do you have to get another one?
The PRESSURE tank came with a new cap. I was replacing the old one cause it was pretty nasty inside and it had the smaller hose nipples - wouldn't fit the 500 dollar silicone hoses.
Van Cafe (the link you posted) has the OVERFLOW tank that goes behind the licence plate. I didn't even have that tank when I bought the van. The van Cafe tank has no cap so I would need to get one of those as well but they are out of stock.
I'd buy the tank from Van Cafe but not if the cap isn't available. Mounting the thin plastic thing I bought would be silly after all this work.
<----- will laugh arss off when you see the cheezy cap fits $$$ bottle like glove.. its just a pop on lid like washer bottle....
Us GM guys usually use a Coors tallboy or whiskey jug.
Should I go in and heckle at Van Cafe? I'll be 3 blocks from there tomorrow.
On my mud rigs I always use the empty gallon jug of anti freeze...now that I know what kind of bottle the system is. Put a slit in the back with the pocket knife and insert hose at the top. When mudding and overheating, I would just wait for it to cool and pour it back in.

Sure, go in and pat 'em on the back for selling stuff you can't find anywhere for ridiculous prices

- pretty smart.
