lil update.

I ordered real rod bearings, and then also decided to remove the new main bearings, and replace them also.
1981 VW Caddy
1984 Saab turbo

Reinstall your old bearings, then if all ishunky dorey, you know your installation technique is correct. I'd suggest, if they have little wear then leave them in...
