What kinda of intakes are the (MK2) N/A guys running? i've been wondering on what to do but not really sure. pics would be awsome :)

I've done a bunch of testing, and now i'm back to the factory box, paper filter, and inner fender inlet. It's the best for filtering, and IMO, the barely measureable difference in power isn't worth the lesser filtering abilities of non paper filters.
I repair, maintain and modify VW's and BMW's.
Good work done at affordable rates. Welding and fabricating, too.

I'm using a paper filter as well. I tried using no filter for a few seconds (just to trryyyy it) and there was no major increase in power. I'm also using a home depot 3 in dryer duct to the stock location (behind the right headlight) and the 1.5 in plastic inlet tube to the airbox. Seems much better than a broken foam tube soaked in diesel that breathed in hot engine air. Sounds much better too.
