Lastly I purchase,but when I Turn engine counterclockwise until dial stops (get 0.95mm) Zero gauge Turn
engine slowly back to TDC I get 1.12mm.Why is that difference, Is that only me,and 1.12 is important namber we look for right?of corse 1.12 is too advanced.Best
It's the slack in the belt. What you are demonstrating is the importance of going back at least 1 compression stroke before going clockwise to take a reading or to check your timing marks. Or just always go clockwise and you won't need to worry about that.
Sometimes too, you need to push the dial stem downward once you've stopped rotating engine to make sure it has full contact.
I do that to the dial stem at every checkpoint.
