Any diesel gurus in the Sacramento area?
« on: July 29, 2010, 08:43:47 am »
It's not for me. I have a guy out there that's buying some AC brackets and pulleys from me so he can have an AC shop install aftermarket AC. I know they can do the AC right, but I'm pretty certain they'll have to remove the Injection pump to install the compressor bracket properly (it's a MK1). I'd hate to see this poor guy jump timing because some idiot at an AC shop thought he could pull the belt off by himself.

If you're out there, please PM me with a phone number and I'll forward your number to him.

Minimally, you should have experience with timing belt installation and removal, you should also have the tools to retime the injection pump.
