no, there not.. i have an ALH turbo on my car.. its one piece. i even got it off a 2001 TDI jetta, w/ ALH tdi engine (110hp)
AFAIK, the separate VNTs are a EURO turbo.. thats what everyone has been saying on here atleast..

Wrong ALHs are 90HP, AFNs are 110HP, and I will take a Picture of my ALH Turbo tomorrow, I have an ALH under a tarp at my shop lol

well wtf? i was told a long time ago that my turbo was off a 110hp ALH..
and i was told that the separated VNT only came on AFN cars..
well, never the less, i dont care whos right, its not that big of an issue to me. if im wrong, im sorry, someone fed me lines of bull$#!t...

I brag the little POS up and it lets me down.. 65 degrees tonight and it's running hot..
Seems the t-stat took a poo.. No shame I guess since it's been in there since the block was welded..... almost 60,000 miles ago... HA! Wonder if it's worth splurging and replacing that timing belt, it's been there even longer, but I can't remember when it was replaced...

I decided that I didn't even want to splurge for a t-stat.. Shoved a big assed ball bearing in the return and am running sans t-stat.. If it's still running come winter, well, we'll see...
