Diesel Vanagon Coolant Hoses - The Engine Compartment Explained.
I just spent the last 2 days figuring out the diesel-vanagon coolant
hoses amd differences throughout the years. Finished up the funky engine compartment hoses (the hardest to
fabricate) I couldn't find much info on the 84s. Please let me know if there's any errors:

S/S CLAMP WILL BE INCLUDED, SILICONE LINED TYPE

I've been following this thread for a while here and on the samba and don't fear guys, it's not dead just yet. I just got off the phone with Guy at GEE-BEE and I agreed to pony up the ching for the entire order, yep, $9.5k. What this means is Grease Works will be taking orders for these directly and we should have stock in 3-4 weeks. I will honor the group price offering of $355 incl. clamps until the first 29 sets are gone, then they will go to the standard retail rate of $399--I know it's a lot of money but is the last set of hoses you will ever buy for your Vanagon!
Advance orders can be made here:

Excellent! Thank you Justin, way to step up for the community...That will definitely get things done sooner.
I just didn't have the spare moolah to go in the whole way myself
Already done and on the shelf.
Don't mean to piss on anyone chips.
<<click>>Trouble is that my insurance company won't insure me for exports, which is a bit of an arse.
There are ways and means though.
Which is exactly why we had to do it ourselves.
Plus the fact that your moneys is worth double our moneys... not a cheap prospect combined with the astronomical shipping from the UK.
Cheap Yankee copies about to flood the market, yarrrgh!
Kill'em with Kindness Syncro !

Yep, my insurance company is one of very few that will actually insure me!
I have such a weird business, with many facets that it is a strange risk and many just won't quote.
I can't help the exchange rate either, nor the stupid amount that shipping companies want to charge, we don't profit from it, simply pass the charge on at cost.
But, seriously, if there is a order worth sending I'm sure we can work something out. I can either ask SFS if they will send on my behalf or I can ask a buddy who also sells car parts in the UK if he can send for me.
I get 40~50 kg shipments via Fedex Express for 110-120 GBP insured, all the time, from Propex Heatsource UK. The USD is actually doing quite well against the GBP at this time, compared to where it was a couple years ago. 1.0 USD = 1.536 GBP
Arranging collection with FedEx at your end is a lot cheaper than us doing it here, considerably.
Cheapest way I have found of getting stuff in and out is to use a 3rd party shipping company, something like
www.interparcel.com they use all the big boys and have big discounts in place, then they sell on much cheaper than DHL, Fedex, UPS etc do.
Worth a look.
