This summer just fixed all power windows, 100% works  ;D , need to change power steering hose(leaking). And the bearings need to be changed too.

Nice ride !!  I love how they do the trailer hitch in Europe..

Speaking of diesel fans, I just learned that besides piloting the world's fastest business jet http://www.sj30jet.com/, Morgan Freeman is on the Board of Directors for Earth Biofuels

I want to lower it but not too much, because the road here are in very bad shape. Maybe buy some springs in spring, there's no point to put them is winter  ;D. Thanks  :)

so its a CL (little brakes) with vr6/gti wheel arch trims.... and an AAZ. looks nice with those rims, they are a good find alone (might be the ones that came on a mk3 cabrio some models?)

if i were youi'd dith the wheel arch trims - i reckon mk3's look nicer without them (body lines look cleaner and more modern)

Personal experience says if you havent put the arch trims on yourself, then taking them off seems to uncover something thats been hidden for a reason

A lot of the MK2 and MK3 non-GTI's in Euroland came with the black arch trims, it's defo a good idea to take them off and have a look underneath and fix any rust before it gets too bad... I'm speaking from experience unfortunately, my MK2 1.6 Driver had bad rot underneath and it was too late to do anything as it had spread to the rear valance and rear panel   >:(

Yeah I agree that without these plastic arches the car looks better, but the winter so ******* in here that the rust comes out every spring. I don't have time and experience to fix that. I tried but the rust spots comes again  :(. Will see what gonna be in this spring  ;D
