Where is the smoke screw on this pump?
The intermediate spring is nothing more then a buffer for a smooth transition between idle spring and main spring.??
Thats what my thoughts are on the whole subject.
Thus making sense to leave the intermediate spring alone and shim the main spring only.
The modded pump in the pics is my pump.
Recently fitted it and it runs fine and goes very well.
Revs seem to hold ever so slightly on gearchange but unsure if that a TD characteristic as never had a TD before?
Very happy with performance
thanks for that!
You tried that screw I suggested? It'll increase the force closing the throttle down.
just to add to what i said earlier as i have recently got my caddy (with its newly fitted AAZ engine with a GTD pump modded by regcheeseman) back on the road, it revs up like a good 'un, doesnt hang at all - waaay better than when it was standard!

here is a quick vid before i put an exhaust on it
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MgxCKUpxV3wi give it a few stabs on the throttle at the end, no hanging, no problem!
