EGT probe/ sealant ?
« on: September 01, 2010, 10:58:16 am »
When installing the EGT probe, should I use any kind of pipe dope/ thread sealant on the threads?

I just use Permetex Hi-temp antiseize... partly as a sealant, but mostly in case I ever have to get the thing back out.   ;)

Planning to drill and tap my hole in the small dimple area directly opposite of the trapezoidal flange on my exhaust manifold, about as dead center from all 4 paths as possible.
