ok, that makes more sense. but uh, if i ever do something, im just gonna do an 80% mini slip in my transmission. i think its less than a hundred bucks for one if you can find it?

I actually got another guy to do it, I'm saving a little money, bought a peloquin today which is on sale with APtuning and a seal kit with GAP. I'm dropping the trans off to the guy tomorrow, he'll be pulling it apart to check for anything else i need. He said labor will be about 200 for tear down and assembly. Which will put me in the 1100-1200 range.

Little update. Trans got put back together with a peloquin and 3.94 final drive.

Here was the damage.

Peloquin: On sale at APTuning, including ARP hardware and bearing: $815 shipped
Labor for rebuild: $200
3.94 Final Drive: $150
Gasket/Seal Kit: $60
Pinion Bearings and Misc: $50

Total: $1275

I should be able to sell my 4.25 R&P for hopefully around $300, so that will put me at $975, not bad at all for a rebuilt trans with a LSD.

Hopefully i'll have it back in the car and up and running tomorrow if all goes well.
