• fiber headgaskets= why would you even buy a fiber gasket for a 1.9 when you can get a MLS version???

• Fiber gaskets are more forgiving for slight warpages in the head

• fiber is just fine for normal builds. now, for a fire breathing engine, metal would be the way to go!
