theres a screw in the bov.  you should have access to it (comes out the top of it) remove the screw and find a longer one with the same type of thread.  screw it in nice and tight and there, no more bov.

How did your engine act when the BOV opened and I'm assuming it did?  Does it just feel like the engine won't build anymore boost or is there a definate drop off you can feel when they open?  I'm in about the same situation you are right now with my 83 T/D and wonder if I need to do anything to mine.  I've seen 10 on mine so far since I put it on 2 days ago but I'm also watching my turbo overspeed thread to see what they say too.

ya id say you would definatly feel a power loss ... my boost gauge would read 12 .. creep a bit then just drop and jump around .. from like 12 down to 5 to 8 .. it would go all over kinda ... but the engine would feel a nice acceleration ... and ya it would kinda feel like a power loss just like you took your foot off the floor and poped it up half way only... i tried so much to find out why i couldnt boost over 12 like i say i made that post and i heard a few things bout the bov from this site then jtanguay told me what to do .. and after i blocked the bov i can boost to wtv now so it definatly opend .. but ya id say you can feel the loss of power cuz after the boost cut off it will boost back up then the same thing happends.
