Ideal timing for my mtdi setup

What is the best timing for my engine? It's a AFN/12mm oem pump, .216 injectors (220/300 bar), FMIC, and a wastegated Garrett turbo (1Z). Currently, I have the timing set @ 1.05. I runs fine, but I just want to be sure.

it depends more on what it sounds like. if its really loud and clackety, then its too advanced. if you could take a video that would be good.
mines timed to 0.80 and it runs great! but its also setup to have lots of timing advance

if its electronic, the timing is variable depending on many things, one being fuel temp.

since its mechanical there really isn't a spec timing 'per say'. its more of a timing at outside temperature, fuel temperature, etc. i think 0.80 to 1.00 is about what you need, but best to use your ears to get it running smooth. you don't want it too clackety. too much advance and the engine will be working against itself in a sense, and too little will mean low power/smoke.
