Agreed - always get the largest batteries you can fit in the car, but for $300 I think you can walk out of Costco with 2 Optima batteries that will give you 1700 CCA.


hook those puppies up in series and that'll start the car REAL quick... but probably blow the starter  :lol: i've thought of getting an isolator and putting a battery in the trunk for some extra juice, but after i got a new starter (and still using the old battery) i haven't had any cold starting issues other than the fact that the motor is getting a bit tired.

at work i just leave it plugged in for a whole shift...  :lol: did that at least 20-30 times last year without issue, and supposedly my heater still works.  just remember that its thermostatically controlled and *shouldn't* burn itself out.  but as with any element there's always that chance....
