"Making the jump NA to TD" slow but sure.

is it the 606 engine you are talking about...  it came in a few mercs... 98 e-class as well?

I love the 1.9D engine in my '82 Caddy:

Boat loads of torque from the larger piston and longer stroke.

Only complaint is that it is tough on tires, hard to keep from spinning them :)
