None of the wiring diagrams I have ( Haynes/ Bentley and one from a russian reference site) match the wiring in my car for the problems ive got ( glow plug and low coolane level circuits)

Does anyone know where I can get UK spec Diesel MK2 wiring info?

no led. glow plugs seem to work fine, but light on dash doesnt come on. I think ive traced that to either a failed LED or something on the printed circuit sheet, as I earthed pin L on the relay block with the ignition on and it still didnt come on!

Im more in need of advice on the temp sender, read me latest post HERE:

Dunno why I can't post on that thread but I can't believe you've been lead round the houses on such a simple problem.

if your plugs glow then it is not your sender or relay that is at fault - you have been barking up the wrong tree.

it is the wire to your dash or more likely the dash membrane, you will not have blown the LED.

As for the sender positions, mine are the other way round (blue white wire on horizontal sender) but not sure that the plugs swap so maybe your senders are in different positions - and no it doesn't matter.

I don't get on here much as I'm busy boring people on the caddy forum but I've got a tuned GTD caddy and know my electrikery.

Do you have the Haynes book for the Mk1/2 diesel Golf It's number 451. That has your circuitry.
Are you looking for something like this? Well ... It doesn't exist ::mrgreen:

ive actually found some more GTD clock for £30 and should get my money back on these as they were untested by the former owner who said bring em back if you have any problems.

[If your reading this Simon, I was going to wait till I get the new clocks in before contacting you]

I have taken the low coolant relay and wiring from a scrap gti so hopefully thats combined with new clocks should sort it!

Oh, Mark, that looks great but its for 2 plug clocks, GTD clocks are single plug.
