Anyone ever done or seen a hot 1.6TD into an Opel GT?

I just really think those cars kick ass.  Anyone ever seen or heard of one that had been modded with a vw turbo diesel?  How would you set it up?  It's rwd, so the flywheel would need to face the rear.
Drop in a hot Franken or m-tdi pushing big boost and I bet that thing would just scream down the road.
