well are you having a problem with coolant loss? I doubt an oil pressure gauge is going to help you much for leaking coolant.

i replaced the block heater with a expansion plug due to leakage...one morning i was warming the car up, and when i reved it up to excite the alternator the plug poped out... ... i put it back in, but each time i see that light flashing it makes me very nervous..i just want to use the gauge to mesure the water pressure.

well I am sure that you could adapt some sort of contraption from a radiator cap and the guage. I would also suggest to pressurize the system to check for leaks. Dont put more than 15psi in it though or you could break things that normally wouldnt break. Cooling system operating pressure should not exceed 12psi. Anything above that is thermostat or headgakset time.

Meyle brand freeze plug?
I've heard they fit a little loose.
I suppose an oil pressure sender would work on the coolant system but it wouldn't use much of the gauge, should probably stay below 1 bar.
