yup, one of the gas VW's was torn down this past fall at Solo Nationals cause it seemed too fast. turned out to be legal so he got some $$ for new gaskets, but he got nothing for time to reassemble it.
waste gate and presure relief valves have to have full OEM range of motion. SCCA has never really been friendly to turbo cars because it's so hard to police boost. Years ago a showroom stock turbo car was discovered to have a hole rubbed into the wastegate line by chafing the firewall. At least that was the story by the driver. :lol:
