« on: December 30, 2007, 02:01:22 am »
Finaly got a sunday off, was going to fit my new clutch and refit the gearbox thats been out for 2 years or so.

Dug out the big box of bolts from the boot to start cleaning the threads with a tap and die set, then opened the bonnet for a quick check to make sure theres nout I've forgot to get so I can fix it tomorrow and saw this

Do I need a new crankshaft seal and gasket?

parts 3 and 25 in pic

Hi,just buy the seal,if you go genuine they come with a plastic sleeve to help to fit it without damaging the seal, when its in,pull the plastic sleeve out job done.
