Hey, that's a really nice golf you have there, I love the styling, sup-er clean too. Put up more pictures! Mine is nearly finished, here is a picture of it fresh out of the spray booth:

Will post more pictures when it's finished.
What have you done in terms of tuning and has it made any noticeable differences?

Aidan,

Sorry to hear your GTD is no more, pity as they seem to attract a lot of attention, i took mine back home for the weekend and the ammount of people who asked me if it was a conversion was unreal...... rare beasts.

Thanks for the kind comments guys   :D

Like your GTD HP, could do with lowering a bit though  :)

Will try and get a few pictures of the car on the site over the weekend, after i had cleaned it today a flock of starlings flew over it and S**t all over the roof and bonnet..... sods law......lol.

Will take a few of the exterior and some of the brake conversion i have carried out, the suspension and a few goodies that i still have to fit to it.

Here is a few photos of the "rare interior" if any one has seen or got this fitted, please let me know as i havnt seen it in any other Mk2 golf's

Hey MK2 GTD, That backbox looks brilliant. I'm currently fitting a twin tailpipe to mine, however it sags at the back and isn't straight, how did you get that to sit so perfectly snug? Also where did you get the turbo and diesel rear badge?

Here is an average camera phone picture of mine, nearly finished, will get better pictures when it is.

Nice car mate...... :D  the rear badges came on the car when i got it, the front like yours i got of ebay in the states.

Exhaust.... if you look at the rear hanger its held on by a lock nut, undo it, takt it off and turn the hanger 180 dergrrs, that way it will fit and not bang on the rear scuttle..... mind you i han to remove some of the scuttle as the twin pipe set up dosnt fit.

Got to admit, your car has been a bit of an inspiration for me, i have followed most of your posts in this site  :)

Love the car and the colour is great....... was tempted by big bumpers as i have a set in the garage but after looking at loadsw of vw golf sites thought the small bumpers looked retro.
