autohausaz.com
note: they show out of stock on website (special order only)
kolbenschmidt pistons are oem quality and include rings.
I took them to my machine shop and they tried to demonstrate that my engine needed balance by showing me how "out of balance" even the new pistons were on this $3000 scale that measures to 1/10th of a gram.
He started off by saying they should all be within 1 gram.
Right out of the box my new pistons were...
519.9 grams
520.4
519.7
520.6
Needless to say they didn't need balance. Also the ring gaps on top and bottom were perfect. The middle ring needed about 1-2 thousandths "adjustment" to be in spec according to bentley (note that bore size also affects this).
Point is.... buy quality Kolbenschmidt pistons cuz they're good.

If ya aint got the money for quality the first time how ya gonna afford it the 2nd time?
