cam oil guard thing installation

before i dig in, how do these things go on? do i need to get other nuts or anything?


01 Jetta TDI 100% stock daily
81 Rabbit:TDI-M ported head, Frank06 cam, PD intake, hybrid T3 turbo, Renault intercooler, Syl20 11mm pump, light weight fw, and yellow California Clutch clutch kit

set it on then bolt the valve cover back on
12mm PUMP 'O' DEATH on a 1.6L

so the valve cover is what holds it on?  is there a specific direction it should go?

im sure of it it only goes on one way and it jet sits there. there isnt a whole lot of room to move around in ther whats its bolted together.

yep once i had the valve cover back on i tried to move it and couldn't, looks like now all my oil blow by problems are solved
