I'm trying to get my MTDI ALH running. It will start, but only run with the throttle fully open. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can check for to cure that?

Maybe turn the max fuel screw in a little.

Or it could be the vane pump isn't moving fuel.
 Do you see the fuel moving fast through the clear fuel lines?
