Feeler: 93 Passat parts
« on: May 29, 2011, 11:56:19 pm »
I'm thinking of pulling the AAZ out of my 93 Passat and putting it in my Kubvan, and if I go ahead with this, most of the other parts will be available, possibly including the following parts, which all ahve about 14,000km on them: Early TDI style harmonic balancer, clutched alt.pulley (with working alt), rad, hoses, clutch slave, rear struts, brake parts, etc. Also have 02A trans, etc. Car is currently complete and running. If I go ahead with the part out it will be early this summer. Let me know if interested in any parts.

I'd like some bits from the car when you're done. I can come up there and get 'em. I'm in Victoria.

Yes, I will be pulling the motor and parting the car out as soon as I get time. What parts are you looking for?

If it has cruise control I would be interested in the vacuum servos and mounting parts.

It does have working cruise control. Hopefully I'll get a chance to start on the car later this week. Will keep you posted.

Yeah, my Jetta 1.6TD has an AAZ serpentine conversion and the vacuum servo bracket won't fit with the conversion so I need the B3 servo assembly that goes under the dash.

OK, I've been slowly whittling away at this part out all summer. Motor is now in my Kubvan (huge improvement) but I still have some parts for sale. Would prefer local pickup, but willing to ship smaller parts via mail or Greyhound. Here's a link to my ad if interested:
