And taken from another forum.

Quote
here she is

outside the car it has full 16v gti spec, g60 arches and bbs rz's

the car has now been converted to a 1.9tdi engine. this engine came out of a 2004 tdi anniversary golf with about 4400 miles on it, the engine now has less than 9000miles as seen on the odometer

interior is the hard to find and highly sought after recaro interior.; very good condition with the bolsters only showing a small amount of wear.

car is last of the mk2's. electric windows and also has a sunroof to.

chassis is completely solid with no rust in the usual mk2 golf places.

car has been fully poly bushed and has FK coilovers that have only been in for about 3000miles if even. has a full g60 brake setup with braided front lines.

as said the engine came from an anniversary golf, it was rolling roaded at 201bhp and 315ftlbs of torque.

car is very quick and the 6 speed box makes it a great long distance cruiser as it just munches up the miles

I did, was extremely entertained.
My latest idea for a project is that to buy a rod kit[ i know it's lame ,but i want it sooner than later], and dump in a Cummings or Powerstroke

both the golfs look a little hacked together.. not what i would call clean swaps..

look at that black one, the cluster is pretty much hanging there in the dash.

sorry if i hurt any feelings, but if i were gonna go thru all that work to do a swap like that, i would atleast make it look decent when i was done.

delete all the wires and hoses that are not needed atleast, on the red one..

and the black one has a completely orange engine.. diesels do not call for orange as a block color..
