I was told by a local vw mechanic guru type that when loosening the injector make sure that you're turning into the top of the head rather then the bottom. (i hope this makes sense?!?!)In other words, when the turning force or torque is being applied, it is being applied above the injector (where there is a lot of thick material), versus below the injector when the space\material between the injector and the bottom of the head is very thin.i hope this helps?Aivars
