1.9 TD - pulled off the plastic ring, still can't turn the screw. Do I have to pull off another metal thing before I can do it? I see metal under where the plastic was, but I duno if it's part of the pump or not.

Ok, ignore that - I found the locknut and the metal collar
Don't you feel a bit embarrassed making all that smoke?
Boost gague next - or do I just turn it up so the smoke stops and hope that's ok... hmm..
