Yeah, someone must be REALLY bored. Is there a way to keep noobs from posting pics until they reach a certain post level? Maybe that might help. After all, what good is the porn without the pics? Or maybe block everything from .info domains.

Maybe appoint a few admins / mods around different time zones to keep on top of this - I was cruising the forum with my children around when the pictures popped up damnit... lucky they were more interested in teh Disnye channel at that point.

Yeah, man harrietvanders must be one sick dude, I think he's done 26 posts which means he must be a diesel guy, but from his pics he's one diesel guy I don't care to know. :evil:

Hahaha rabbit! He isn't a diesel guy. His twenty-some posts were all from the spamming he did.

Most of the spammers are bots that are solely created to advertise websites or products. They usually originate from China which is why the posts often consist of poor grammar.

We studied this for a bit when I took Computer Science at the college a couple years back.

Yeah, I saw on tv the other day where there are websites that trick people into solving the Captcha pictures so the spammers don't have to worry about the bots getting stopped by them. They would take a piece of clothing off a lady's picture for each one they input, then it would start over again before she was naked, so that they would input more. Some people are stupid.

I don't spend a lot of time on here, but
the two or three times I've seen porn
spam, posted it clearly stated what it
was about (i.e. "NakedPictures of Winston
Churchill"

, or something), so I'm surprised
that the pictures would pop up unexpectedly
without someone clicking on the post.

Are these spammers now disguising their
posts as legitimate queries/info?

If they are posting in an existing thread there will be no mention of porn.

Happened yesterday I think, I clicked on a topic that had been dormant for a while but was a subject I had been interested in and the "New post" was porn...

They are finding ways around it.

I to was surprised to see that this dip sh*t still had a account here after his 26 something porn posts..

Ticks me off, my sons likes to read through the threads with me from time to time and I don’t need either one of them see that crap.

I was watching his posts through his profile and for 3 hours yesterday afternoon he peppered 41 threads in that time i seen malone log on but it did not apear he noticed him and i'm not abel to do anything!
but that was the worst one i seen so far!

Unfortunately none of the mods have the ability to ban anyone, only Marc can do that.

Myke_w is now a moderator so we will monitor the site and see if we need another mod.
