If I weren't talking to a couple different importers about possibly getting a V6 TDi for my Quantum Syncro... I'd be all over this.

This engine will not bolt up to VW 4-cylinder transversly mounted transmissions.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!  That thing would have been sweet in a MK2 or that Passat B3 Syncro being sold for peanuts by a guy local to meeeeee!!!
91 Passat syncro 1.8T swapped.

not bolting up just means you have to work a bit harder to get it to work

I've spent some time helping a friend get his Quatro running.
Sat for awh9ile so new brakes suspension and he had to have the whole tank cleaned and sealled.
He put about $2000 into it (and is dumping it for around $1000) and we got it running but it's gutless (sat for years and the injectors are probably messed up).
There is even a parts car in the local salvage yard.
This engine would have been great for it.... someday I'll catch up with all my projects and I'll find an engine like this, ha hahahaha.
 Whaaaaa
Tornado red, '91 Golf 4 door, with M-TDI 12mm pump, south bend clutch, VNT-15 turbo, 02A trany
MK4s: 2000 TDI jetta, 2003 TDI wagon, 2000 golf 2.0 gasser.
'84 Rabbit with 1.7TD KY block pistons bored to 80mm, VNT-15
