yah, so my Jetta is stock, kinda bagged and getting pretty smokey, specially after idling for a while.

So, I'm heading home this evening, sitting in right lane waiting at a light, no cars around.  This nice new mustang GT comes up beside me with a couple kids in it.  Got real loud  exhuast on it and the driver is blipping the throttle to listen to it.  I good with that, sounds Ok to me.  Then a RCMP car turns left onto the road we are on, but going the opposite direction.  As the mounty goes by the 'stang he is really given the kid the eye.  But he keeps going and is about a block away when the light changes.   I decide to give'er and see if I can catch the kid napping and at least beat him across the light.  My TD did what it usually does, it coughed out the intake full of blowbye it was chewin on into a nice, BIG,  blue-grey cloud behind me.  And we did beat 'em across the road, partially enveloping his car in my big smoke, but the ford pulled by us as we were getting into 2nd...he wasnt even really trying.
now the best part:
As the smoke clears I see the cop car is doing a U turn way back there and has his lights going.   He's coming up fast and heading my way.  As he passes under the slowly lifting fog bank I laid, I'm figuring I'm about to get sent for a  MV inspection.  But he shoots by me and pulls Mr Mustang over! :P    I bet the cop looked in his mirror and saw the back of the mustang surrounded by smoke and figured he was smoking his tires.  Those clouds I leave behind even smell kinda like burning tires!!

Yes.  :D  My V6 Camaro ran a 15.2 best, and I was beating every mustang that was there that day, with the exception of a few that had big drag slicks and lots of other work done.  I beat Mustangs all day long stoplight to stoplight in my Scirocco gasser!  ;)

Hunt away!
