Is mk1 toilet bowl location same on non and turbo chasis?
« on: January 02, 2014, 11:12:54 pm »
I'm just wondering if you should be able to swap mk1 turbo downpipe and non turbo exhaust manifold into either chasis or if they were different?

I was thinking of yanking the turbo kit from my truck and making it non turbo since i have some parts on the shelf.

But when I think back my truck was missing the toilet bowl piece so I ordered a piece online and it was too tall.  I had to cut a chunk out and reweld so I could fit the turbo mk1 downpipe to it.

I'm looking at the exhaust manifolds I got on the shelf and it doesn't seem right.

Thanks!

No,  there are different locations for NA and TD.
 Same exhaust won't work.
