Exhaustive (automated, computer) digging took place ... and I found these online for all to see:

http://www.thepartsbin.com/cartools/diagnostic_tools-tester_accessory-804-d.html

After talking to CS pricing is as follows:

Natasha: I apologize, We do not carry these Part numbers : 1685400014 and 1687431011.

So, checking more specific information I found the parts online, here for a decent price:
http://www.thedieselstore.com/template/productOutput.php?partNum=BOS1685400014
http://www.thedieselstore.com/template/productOutput.php?partNum=BOS1687431011

Bringing the total to $70 something dollars plus shipping. :(

But NAPA has an M22 plug that can be tapped to 1/8" NPT
and a fuel filter from a Rabbit can have the top cut off before you screw it on, with one of those nice can openers that cut the top ridge instead of the lid.

That is a good idea, what sort of threads are at the bottom water drain area?

I used the Rabbit fuel filter,.. NAPA gold/WIX.
It has a 1/8" NPT thread on the water drain.
