OMG... i remember that sound!

my first rabbit had nothing more than a 2" glass pack, and side exit exhaust..

it would rap @ about 1200rpms, just like the one in the video..

mine had a different rap tho, it was almost silent at idle, then when you got on the loud pedal, it got, well, LOUD..

if i ever own another n/a rabbit, im DEFINITELY going to run a straight pipe on it again!
92 Jetta GLI - Black, 1.6D w/ GT2056V turbo..
86 GTI - 4 Door, Med Twilight Gray, Tow Machine..
86 Audi Coupe GT - Tornado Red, All Stock.. WRECKED.
89 Toyota 4Runner - Dark Grey Metallic, LIFTED!

Turbo: exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.

Haha thats for sure. I was thinking a out putting a turbo on cause i have a stock setup laying around.
But it sounds so nice to me that i dont wanna. I turned up the fuel and the power is better now so i think im gonna stay na. Ill probably try the governor mod though

Here's another clip its trying to sound a little like a screaming jimmy.

Rip detroit diesel 2 stroke. 1937-2000. You still make beautiful mechanical music.
