Ya, also the continenntal timing belt I got from Rabbitparts after the website said "Made in Germany". When I got the belt it had "Made in Mexico" stamped on it, after no reply from them about a return/refund for false advertising I chunked it.

If the belt has the Continental name on it, it went through the same strict tests and procedures. Whats with people now-a-days? Mexico and China are for some reason not as good as other countries?

I have issues with parts made in China for a number of reasons, environmental regulations, human rights, trade imbalance, tariff structure, totalitarian regime etc as well as qc but I try to buy parts from Mexico, it's close by, their economy supports our economy, promote stability on your borders and the quality is most often very high.
Can we make this a bash china thread? They're a bunch of jerk offs that ignore international copy right laws.
