81 Caddy Truck Automatic Diesel LX

This is on craigslist and isn't very far from me.
Very unusual to find an Automatic Caddy Truck with Diesel engine.
It probably has factory A-C.
So thought i'd post it in case anyone needs an automatic.

I could do an inspection for someone.
Have not been to see this yet, nor inquired about it.
I don't need any more VW's unless they are Free.
I did a backsearch and they have had it listed for over a month, plus its on a small-time dealer lot also. So the price should have some flex by now.

automatic with air?  I am surprised it moves at all...

I have a N/A with A/C I can use the A/C switch as a brake. No fun on hilly terrain.

I see the center vents for A/C in the photo.

Once test drove a steel blue 4 door rabbit NA Diesel with A/C, Cruise, Auto and Powersteering.  Chrome & woodgrain appointments in the interior everywhere. Seriously.  Had it been a turbo with a sunroof, it would have been the most optioned out rabbit I've ever seen.  It vibrated worse than any car I had driven before...I was young (this was over 20 years ago) and was too afraid to buy it. Now I think....what a fantastic parts car that would have been for all of the odd goodies.

Anyway, price is allot on this rough truck.
