Well heres the issues, i built a na and converted it to turbo, the pump i've got does not have a cold start advance. When i first ran the engine, after the rebuild, it ran fine but didnt like to start, it would, but not smoothly and with white smoke. After it would warm up it ran fine. I wasnt able to time it in the begining, but i finnaly got around to doing it and set it up to 1.00mm. After that, no more problems. But as of recently i drove it to wyoming, which was 2400 miles, and it is doing it again, just the same as before i timed it. It starts first crank, smokes white and heavy untill warm. The injectors have been rebuilt and set to 155bar..... Ive tightened averything i can access on the outside of the pump, and have installed a check valve on the supply side of the fuel line.
Is it possiable for the alltitude change (5500ft more) to be giving me these problems?
Any ideas or thoughts would be great.
Thanks, Cambo
