I don't mean to offend anyone out there, but before I got married I told the soon to be wife that all final decisions would be made by me...and if not then we don't need to get married. She agreed and now is sometimes upset, but I tell her that I am the one that will be held accountable for this family and she calms down. :wink:

To each his own.  It is like religion and politics.  Everyone has an opinion and very rarely are they the same.  People should hold true to what they believe, but keep those touchy conversations private to avoid non forum related debates. Even best friends argue about certain issues.

Nah, I save the club for baby fur seals and wounded animals. I was just saying the way I have it and I like it so far. It isn't that I don't ask for her opinion, but if there is a disagreement in our opinions it goes my way.

Either way to each his own and good luck, but I still think that the diesel awesomeness would be enough, you just need to get it in front of her . Good luck with finding the guy who bought it and getting him to sell.

when i comes down to impulse buying this is the phone call I got last march..." Hi hun how are you?....I love you....uhhh I bought a car..." and she gets upset when I did that to her for 500 parts car last summer but I keep bringing up her 20,000$ impulse on a car

Back in January I wanted to get a Sat radio... She said we didn't need it at the time...Today we took a Kia Soul out for a test drive(I know I know its not a VW) and it had a Sirius radio built in and we where listening to it...she turned it down and looked at me "How much a month is it again..." So after 5 Different stops in town...and 2 Hours of work...I installed one in her car...I still love her :lol: Plus we get it free online too lol

theres a reason that a long long time ago the Patriarchs dominated the Matriarchs.  of course the debate back then wasn't satellite radio, but i'm sure it was equally unimportant  :lol:
