95 golf, with what I still believe to be an 89 1.6..
rad fan doesn't come on
Tested as in other thread...
pulled connector to thermo fan switch from rad ..its a 3 prong...
there is power to the red..
when I jump red, to red/white, the fan comes on...
my other jump is red to red/yellow.. not to red/black as in other test
but fan doesn't come on at that point.
I think I"m going to have to drain her down again and eliminate Thermostat as well.. top hose is hot, lower is cool... top hose never really gets pressurized.
Do they really need to get hotter for all this to kick in, or am I just worrying for nothing?
