What are the widest tires that fit on the 13" wheels? I have 13" steel wheels which I like but the stock 175 tires are just way too skinny. What's the widest that will fit?

I personaly have mounted 225/50-13 Hoosier race tires on 5.5" and 6" wide rims all the time.  strut clearance might be a problem.

205/60-13 should fit, just watch for rubbing on strut and springs.

205/60/13 will clear no problem. thats what mine were. they stuck to the road pretty good too. it was nice with the 13's on there, they were so light. made my car accel better.
