PM me when you want to drop by, I've got the dial indicator and adapter here as well.

Won't cost you anything to check the timing and swap out a set of injectors except the $10 or so in injector heatshields it'll take, I don't fix things for a living anymore.

Did you get it running? Check out my post on the naughty cold start cable. Mine was doing what yours was until I stumbled on this...

It's running alright now but i haven't done your cold start solution yet I'm going to this evening or tomorrow (thank goodness its finally friday).
I'm going to take up commuter boy on his offer of help. I DESPERATELY need it
