so what can i do next to get more power after this:

i was thinking off maybe a front mounted intercooler, turbo or anything else you guys can advise.

do you already have 1.6td boost pin? what turbo do you use?

using the original 1.9 pin and i beleive that its a kkk turbo.

Nogama,come over to halesowen mate,i will take you for a blast in my AAZ TD mk1 golf,no intercooler,and its rapid,i just altered the aneroid pin  :wink:

change boost pin for 1.6td one and check what turbo do you have kkk k03 or k14

ok guys, bit of a thick question but where is this pin located and how easy is it to change it over, i take it its from a mk2 golf.
is this pin the same as mentioned by bert and zaprzal?

wow those pictures are really helpful. Ok so before you take the pin out you mark where it is so if you get lost you can return to stock?
Then is it just a case of turning the pin 180 degrees and putting it back?

and einspritz menge literally means inject mixes
lade druck = pressure loads

I will say that i got a 1.6 boost pin and it didnt fit the 1.9 pump,it was a different diameter,i had to alter the origional pin also my pump dont have a starwheel or smoke screw on the cap either look

Thanks mate,i brought a scrap mk3 golf for the engine unseen £300 went to pick it up,opened the bonnet,its got a brand new bosch fuel pump on it,and its a nearly new genuine vw exchange engine,with the TDI crank in it  :shock:  nearly wet myself  :wink:

that IS a clean engine...ENVY you big time!

Bert, i maybe free between Mon-Wed next week as the misses is going to Yorkshire for the week this weekend and I'm dropping her off so may try and pop down and see your motor.

Have you removed the cap to see if there was/not in fact a star wheel under the diaphram?

Yes mate,come any late afternoon,where do you live? and i have looked under my pin dan and theres no starwheel just the crappy 1.9 pin and the diaphram,and i had my shiney 1.6 pin ready buy it didnt fit the bore   :cry:
