Title: Higher idle
Post by: Benjamin on August 05, 2007, 01:47:28 am
How can you increase idle to 1500 or 2000, but it may not hang in rpm, so it need to come back to idle after you reved.

I dont think that the idling governor would allow a 1500 rpm, it only works till 1000 rpm IIRC

The idling spring would have to be changed to a slightly stiffer one.

The stock idling spring would be completely compressed at 2000rpm, or on later pumps with a seperate idle lever, would have insufficient tension to reach 2000rpm.
