Post by: Barry W on July 22, 2007, 09:58:48 pm
Hi guys I got my donor motor up and running and i'm noticing some excess smoke and there are air bubbles showing up when I rev the car. I saw someone say something about the water seperater might be the problem, can that person give some more info?

Could be the fuel filter too.

coud also be an air leak in the pump  .....

check the return line on the filter ( pull the pin and lift the hoses ... look and see if the filter is full , then push the fitting back down , make sure its snug then replace the pin)

on the filter there's a little plastic piece on top, replace that and the o-ring, it's cheap to do.
