The title pretty much says it all. I think I need something that will handle over 100psi. Also what temp would it be good up to?
-
Tyler, the design of the stock filter would not hold anything over 40 psi.
You're going to have to use one off a car that has multi port FI. GM Vortex comes to mind as their fuel pressure is close to 100 psi.

Thanks, you probably just saved the life of my engine
Actually what is the max oil pressure ever created with a not so healthy engine?
Aren't the mk1 CIS engines pushing close to 100PSI as well?
-
Oil pressure should be around 60 psi if memory serves me right.
The CIS pressurizes the fuel at the fuel distributor. The pump is I think 90gal/min - this again is by memory..

ive had my fuel pump regulator act up,and send 50-60 psi to the pump before without blowing out......
im using a cis pump for a lift pump with a cheezy home depot regulator to bypass the extra pressure
i normally keep it at 42 psi(idling),cause under a load itll drop to mid 30s
any less, and it drops severely under a load
cool thing is i can open the pass. door and reach unde r the car and adjust the regulator+watch my psi guage in my console
been like that for over a year
