hi everyone,

well finally i've managed to find a 1.6td for my new a1, these engines are as rare as hens teeth in australia... so rare that this one actually came out of a spray coup!

the engine number is just that - a number. no letter code, just *-numbers-*.

can anyone educate me about all of the engine numbers given to vw diesels?

FYI, the engine is in all other respects identical to a ck or cy engine...
